Only six months separated the wedding date and the big day. Elisa Richter therefore had to put together her look quickly — and still did it with clarity: clean, cool, without much fuss. In conversation, she talks about why the dress search went differently than expected, why the accessories ultimately completed the look, and how she had to choose between two earrings.

When did you start thinking about what you wanted to wear on your wedding day?
We only got the wedding date about 6 months before our wedding day. Since time was already tight, things moved relatively quickly. I didn't yet know exactly what my look should be, but I knew what I generally liked and what suited me.
What was the experience of looking for a dress — and was it as you had imagined?
Honestly? No. It was quite different from what I expected. I was sure from the beginning that lieben.achten.ehren would perfectly match my style and that I would most likely find what I was looking for there. The girls were great, from the whole process to the fitting — but when I tried on the dresses chosen for me, it wasn't as easy as I had thought. I was convinced I would go there, try on two or three dresses, and know exactly which one was mine. I thought it would be like on TV: You put on the dress and immediately know it's the one, with tears of joy and all the emotions. In reality, I found several dresses to be totally great and was rather uncertain at first.
Did you have a clear idea of your style from the beginning, or did it evolve along the way?
I wanted it clean, yet special and elegant without much fuss. I also liked a deep back and some décolletage. But I didn't know exactly what it should look like. It only became more concrete for me during the fitting.
How did you know it was the right dress?
My initial favorite dress was actually surpassed by another dress. Ultimately, it was clear when I put it on: This is it — it had everything I liked and what was important to me, but most importantly, it reflected me and suited me 100%. And then there really was that feeling — this is my dress. By the time I looked at the faces of my companions, it was clear to me too.

How would you describe yourself as a bride — and did wedding planning change your perception of it?
Clean, cool, modern. When you're in this wedding bubble, it's incredible how much input and inspiration you get from all sides. I think my strength is that I know what I like and what suits me and us as a couple. So, I was able to stay true to my style the whole time.
What was the most underestimated part of putting the whole look together?
Definitely choosing the right jewelry. I think jewelry can completely change the look, sometimes even distract or overwhelm. At the same time, it can also be exactly the highlight that perfectly completes the look. That's why I'm super happy that I found the perfect jewelry for me at ENA.
The dress usually comes first. What really completed your look in the end?
Actually, the accessories. I loved my dress so much that I wanted to wear it in different looks throughout the day. For the ceremony, I wore a long scarf; for the evening, I had sleeves tailored instead. I also loved my earrings from ENA. I actually couldn't decide at first which ones I liked better for my look. The Pear 01 a bit cooler, the No.03 a bit more elegant. In fact, I only decided on the Pear 01 in the morning after I had put on the dress.

Was there a specific piece, jewelry, or accessory that changed the whole picture?
For me, it was actually the earrings. They perfectly completed the look without taking away from it.
How would you describe your wedding style in a few words?
Clean, cool, stylish.
What do you most want to remember about how you felt and looked that day?
That feeling that probably every bride wishes for: to feel beautiful, to be content, and above all, to be yourself — not disguised, not too much changed, but simply to feel really good about yourself. When I was styled and saw myself in the mirror for the first time, that feeling overcame me. The reaction from my husband and family when they saw me for the first time also intensified that feeling. That's exactly what I wish for every bride and what I will always remember.
