STUDIO ENA moves between playfulness and timelessness. We design jewelry for special moments – but even more so for everything that comes after.
Our Story
From an idea, STUDIO ENA is born.
STUDIO ENA was founded in 2022 by Elena Kayser. The initial ideas emerged during her product design studies – rather by chance, as part of a university project. From an experimental design, a distinct design language gradually developed, ultimately leading to STUDIO ENA.
The name "Ena" comes from Elena's childhood nickname. What started as a small project evolved into a jewelry label that combines natural materials, unexpected shapes, and a playful lightness.
Kayserzinn
A place that not only shaped Elena creatively but also gave her the confidence to forge her own path.
Elena grew up in her family's pewter workshop, which continues the design legacy of Engelbert Kayser and Kayserzinn. Even as a baby, she was in the workshop in her car seat – surrounded by machines, molds, materials, and the busy daily life of a family business.
STUDIO ENA's first earrings were also made of pewter. Today, the team works in its own premises in Saarbrücken, and pewter casting is not currently part of ongoing production. Nevertheless, the connection to Kayserzinn remains an important part of STUDIO ENA – as an origin, a space of knowledge, and a design heritage. At the same time, the studio is working on a new collection that once again approaches the material of pewter.
Our Stance
Revisiting the familiar.
At the heart of STUDIO ENA is the idea of looking at familiar materials from a new perspective. We work with pearls, natural stones, crystals, and selected metals, bringing together materials that might not seem destined for each other at first glance.
Pearls, in particular, have been central to our work from the beginning. Their individual shapes and natural variations give each piece of jewelry its own character. We constantly strive to create new interpretations of how pearl jewelry can look and be worn: contemporary, unexpected, and full of personality.
Sterling silver
We source selected components from European partners. For the ear contacts, we use gold-plated or untreated 925 silver.
Made in Saarbrücken
Design, material selection, assembly, quality control, and packaging all take place in our studio.
Our Studio
A quiet place for focused work.
Today, STUDIO ENA's jewellery is created in our own studio in Saarbrücken. This is where design, material selection, stringing, winding, assembly, quality control and packaging take place.
The majority of our jewellery pieces are currently only produced after an order has been received. At the same time, we are working on building up a small stock and making selected designs available more quickly in the future.
In contrast to Kayserzinn's lively and noisy workshop, our current studio is a quiet place. We work with concentration, taking our time and paying great attention to materials, proportions and details.

Elena founded STUDIO ENA in 2022. She develops the collections and shapes the creative direction and visual world of the label.

MayMay is part of the production team at STUDIO ENA. With calmness, precision, and care, she guides the jewelry pieces through the creation process.
The portraits of Elena and MayMay were created in the Kayserzinn workshop – the place where Elena's creative journey began.

STUDIO ENA also arises from the people, places, and encounters surrounding it.
Workshops, pop-ups, collaborations, personal customisations, and interacting with our community constantly open up new perspectives. For us, jewellery shouldn't just be decorative. It should carry memories, show personality, and evolve with the people who wear it.
