Anna Bormuth took her time for her wedding day – for choosing the dress, for finding the right jewelry, and for considering how she wanted to feel on that day. In this interview, she talks about this journey, her decision to choose the Big Pearl earrings, and what she remembers most about that day.

When did you start thinking about what you wanted to wear on your wedding day?
It really only became concrete after the engagement, especially when my bridesmaids said that we absolutely had to go shopping now because wedding dresses are ordered so early. Before that, of course, I had always seen beautiful dresses, but only then did inspiration turn into a real plan.
What was the experience of looking for a dress — and was it what you had imagined?
I never thought the dress search would be so special. I actually wanted to approach it simply and not make a big deal out of it, but my bridesmaids, with a lot of love, made it an unforgettable day.
Did you have a clear idea of your style from the beginning, or did it evolve along the way?
I was sure I would wear a very simple, minimalist dress. In the end, it turned out to be the exact opposite.
How did you know it was the right dress?
With all the other dresses, I immediately knew: This isn't it. With this one, I just felt comfortable, and that was the clearest sign for me.

How would you describe yourself as a bride — and did wedding planning change your perception of it?
I heard from many service providers that I was probably a relaxed bride. Perhaps because my husband and I planned the wedding together, and it always felt like our shared project. He might have even organized more, which allowed me to be a relaxed bride.
What was the most underestimated part of putting together the entire look?
How many small details eventually come together. Not just the dress, jewelry, and shoes – but also ensuring that the bride and groom, the location, and the overall atmosphere harmonize.
The dress usually comes first. What truly completed your look in the end?
The veil completed the look for me. And once that was decided, the accessories, especially the selection of jewelry, made up the really beautiful part of the styling journey. That was the most fun.

Was there a specific piece, jewelry, or accessory that changed the overall look?
For me personally: definitely the earrings. Despite the glamorous dress, they gave the look something modern and edgy, and that made me feel like myself.
How would you describe your wedding style in a few words?
Urban and elegant, perhaps with a touch of vintage.
What do you want to remember most about how you felt and looked on that day?
Most of all, I want to remember that feeling of being surrounded by so many people who love us, who mean so much to us. Who went out of their way just to celebrate with us, who gave us their time, and who shared this day with us. That touched me incredibly, and I have rarely felt so loved and supported.
