When did you start thinking about what you wanted to wear on your wedding day?
I first started thinking about my wedding look in October 2024 during a family vacation in Andalusia. My mother-in-law, a trained tailor, sketched out my initial ideas for me back then. My original plan was a simple, form-fitting jumpsuit with a cape. When I discovered the Jesus Peiro collection, the clean lines immediately appealed to me. I then found a dress with a cape at a retailer, and the jumpsuit idea was forgotten. It was a look that perfectly reflected me.
How did you decide to go for a custom-made piece – and why Studio Ena?
I coincidentally met Elena at a vintage designer flea market in Frankfurt. From the beginning, I was completely captivated by her clean yet slightly playful design. When I asked if she also did custom orders, we connected on Instagram. For me, it was clear that I wanted to wear something minimalist yet elegant. And why Studio Ena? Firstly, we share the same name, and secondly, Ena blew me away with her initial earring designs.
Is there a personal story or meaning behind the design of the piece?
I drew inspiration for earrings from Pinterest and Instagram. That was even before I met Elena. When I then saw her style, it was a clear match!

How was the process for you, from the first conversation to the finished piece?
Totally uncomplicated. Based on an inspiration, Studio Ena designed a prototype from brass wire and a test pearl. We collaboratively adjusted the length, shape, and choice of pearl until everything perfectly matched my style. I was particularly thrilled by the idea of making the pearl appear almost weightless, floating on the wire. Studio Ena brought this vision to life so beautifully.
What surprised you most when you held the finished piece of jewelry for the first time?
Even though I was so closely involved in the creation process of the earrings, I was still so surprised by their elegance, lightness, and coolness. Since then, they have become an absolute favorite piece of mine!
How would you describe yourself as a bride – and did the wedding planning change your perception of it?
I didn't see myself as a traditional bride. Instead of tulle and a princess feeling, I wanted a look that was timeless, modern, and authentically me. I wanted to recognize myself in the mirror, just in white. That's exactly how I approached the wedding planning: structured, rational, and with great joy in checking off every item on the to-do list. Fortunately, I have my husband, who is my perfect counterpart – a creative mind with many ideas. This mix is what made us a great team.

How would you describe your wedding style in a few words?
Our wedding style was a blend of modern, clean, and yet full of color. The relaxed garden party provided the ideal setting for it. Our guests were dressed similarly, casually chic and with a lot of personality. The vibrant flower colors and the abundant greenery at the venue perfectly rounded it off for us.
What do you most want to remember about how you felt and looked on that day?
What I remember most is that carefree feeling of simply being myself. Nothing was supposed to feel forced – neither my dress nor my styling. I did my own makeup thanks to YouTube tutorials, and my hair was styled by a friend. My dress fit like a second skin. And it was precisely this lightness that the earrings reflected. The single floating pearl on the organically shaped wire emphasized the clear, minimalist elegance of my look and made it complete for me.
